After more than four years, the National Park Service finally has a Senate-confirmed director. Now the hard work begins. Director Chuck Sams is taking responsibility for the wellbeing of America’s 423 national park sites as well as tens of thousands of Park Service staff.

The truth is that parks and park staff face challenges unlike any before: a changing climate, ongoing global pandemic, plus years of underfunding and repair backlogs.

America’s national parks have stood the test of time. And the people of the National Park Service are passionate, devoted and dedicated. We know that these ideals and these people can tackle these challenges.

Send a message now to welcome Chuck Sams to his new role as National Park Service Director! Remind him that Americans stand in support of his work to lead a Park Service that rises to the challenges of the 21st century.
