National Parks Conservation Association Welcomes Jim Adams to Lead Alaska Regional Office

Anchorage, AK – Today, the nonprofit National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) welcomed new leadership with the appointment of Jim Adams as Alaska Regional Director. Adams will bring his 20 years of experience working on Alaska conservation issues to provide leadership and strategic direction for the organization, working from NPCA’s Anchorage office.

“Jim brings a strong and diverse skillset to NPCA, which will help advance our work in Alaska and across the nation,” said Theresa Pierno, President and CEO for the National Parks Conservation Association. “Jim’s multifaceted experiences will help strengthen efforts to protect wildlife and the outstanding natural and cultural resources of our national parks.”

With 20 years of professional experience helping people conserve and enjoy important landscapes in Alaska, Jim brings outstanding leadership, advocacy, and organizational skills to NPCA. Before joining the NPCA team, Jim served as Policy Director for Audubon Alaska and spent 17 years serving in legal and regional leadership roles for National Wildlife Federation.
