NPCA submitted the following position to the House Natural Resources Subcommittee on Federal Lands ahead of a legislative hearing scheduled for October 11, 2017.
H.R. 3373: To amend the District of Columbia Stadium Act of 1957 to extend for an additional 50 years the lease under which the government of the District of Columbia uses the ground under and the parking facilities associated with Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium - NPCA supports this bill to extend the lease to the District of Columbia for the ground under and parking facilities associated with Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium. NPCA encourages collaborative efforts between the District of Columbia and the National Park Service to efficiently plan for appropriate uses of the land going forward for another 50 years.
