However, snowmobiles continue to shatter Yellowstone’s winter solitude. Snowmobile manufacturers are producing more powerful and noisier machines for Yellowstone than those previously promised. Park managers are deciding now whether to allow snowmobile use to continue–and potentially increase–within the park.
