A group of queer and queer allies from across the country meet for a forever memorable adventure-excursion visiting Canyonlands! This is from the Island in the Sky district where we had our breakfast of bagels, cream cheese, and lox!
The National Parks are a great place to be yourself with the ones you care about and get to know better! I attend trips year-round with my pals and always come back feeling refreshed, inspired and serene.
This particular picture is special to me because it was taken on my Polaroid by another friendly park visitor! The Parks always introduce you to some of the kindest strangers and put everyone in the happiest of moods.

Canyonlands National Park
Canyonlands National Park preserves an immense desert wilderness sculpted by the Green and Colorado rivers and featuring hundreds of colorful canyons, mesas, buttes, fins, arches and spires. The Island in the Sky District is the most accessible and popular section of the park — a mesa with spectacular views of the surrounding canyons. The Needles is a vaster territory below the Island in the Sky where visitors can hike among the sandstone spires and breathtaking rocks.
