My husband and I discovered Acadia National Park almost 30 years ago on our honeymoon in September 1983. We were not experienced hikers but found ourselves climbing the Precipice Trail. I silently told myself that with any luck we would climb it again when we were a long-time married couple in good health…We’ve been back to Acadia four times, three times with all four of our children, once just the two of us. Each time has been a joy! And in September, near our thirtieth anniversary, we will visit Acadia again and climb the Precipice Trail. I know I’m blessed!
