Greetings from Glacier National Park

I finally got my first look at Glacier National Park when my husband and I took a road trip there from Wisconsin just after my 68th birthday in September 2018. I loved the drive across the country as the flat land gradually turned into rolling hills, followed by the mountains slowly approaching in the distance. The anticipation and beauty en route made the long drive well worth the effort. There was not one moment but rather a series of moments that made for an incredible trip. The hikes through the wilderness, discovering the Going to the Sun Road in all its awe, spotting grizzlies enjoying a snack, a moose cutting across our trail, goats taking a shortcut through the Many Glacier Hotel parking lot, a boat tour on Swiftcurrent Lake followed by a hike in the rain, and the captivating Ranger talks in the evening all led to the making of a “trip of a lifetime”.
I can’t wait to go back…

Sincerely,
Peggy
