Greetings from Great Smoky Mountains National Park

I have spent many happy days driving and hiking in the park. As a child (MANY years ago) I made my first trip up Mt. LeConte to spend the night in the lodge. As a teenager, our church youth group council hiked up for a planning retreat. As an adult, I have returned many times (although not recently). My favorite memories are hiking out to Clifftops to watch the sunset and then waking before dawn to hike to Myrtle Point to wait for the sunrise and listen for the morning breeze moving up the side of the mountain.

Sincerely,
Mary
