Greetings from Grand Teton National Park

The Tetons are indeed one of my favorite places and have a very SPECIAL meaning to me. Since I was a little girl I had always dreamed of seeing them in person and living the dream. On one of my trips out to visit my Uncle, who lived in Meeteetse, WY, I had 2 of my dreams come true. I not only had the chance to visit the Tetons but I also got to take my husband, of a year, along who had never been west of PA let alone fly in a plane. :) We had a wonderful time and I watched him come to LIFE and enjoy his time here. I have since lost Jim but the MEMORIES and the TETONS are still there to ENJOY. One of these days, I will return. AND YES THEY ARE PINK IN THE MORNING.

Sincerely,
MJ HawkSpirit

Grand Teton National Park

This spectacular destination preserves a dramatic stretch of the Teton Range bordering the Snake River. One of the unusual features of these distinctive mountains is the absence of foothills, meaning that there are no smaller mountains blocking the view. The park also features glacier-carved lakes, a historic district of weathered buildings made by 19th century Mormon homesteaders, and an abundance of wildlife large and small, including nearly 1,000 bison that roam the grassy fields in herds.

State(s): Wyoming

Established: 1929
