My wife and I finally made it out to Philadelphia. We had a great time visiting the historic sites! I think we read everything in every building. BUT, we were very disappointed that some historic homes were closed. We would have loved to have seen the home where Thomas Jefferson worked on the Declaration of Independence. We wanted to see the home where George Washington relaxed at with his family when he was in the area. I think it was in Germantown. There were other historic homes we walked past that were closed because of the sequester. Please fund our National Parks.
Sincerely,
Independence National Historical Park
