Greetings from Saguaro National Park

I am fortunate to live near the East HQ, park and national forest (Rincon Mountain district) just outside Tucson, AZ. For the past five years the neighbors that care deeply for this glorious preserved area have been fighting a developer (El Cortillo LLC and Bike Ranch LLC), their attorneys and planners. They own about 40 acres across from the main entrance which is native desert zoned suburban ranch ( 1 house per 3.3 acres). They want to build a resort with six 2 story buildings, pool, restaurant, parking lot, bike rental shop etc. It is totally inappropriate for the land and would set a bad president for this and other parks. Please help by voicing your concerns against this planned developement. please contact the district 4 Pima County supervisor, the county zoning board to stop this terrible idea. Also contact district4@pima.gov. I plan to attend the zoning and board hearings to continue the fight against big money developers.

Sincerely,
Peter
