Greetings from Grand Canyon National Park

In Boynton Canyon, Arizona - I walked the circle searching for an answer to what would happen to me in the months to come as I had knots in my stomach. My eyes caught sight of a rock half way around the circle. I picked up the stone about 3 x 4 inches and looked it over. I saw nothing and thought I made a mistake. A man hollered from the rim of the canyon yelling - turn the rock over - what do you see? I yelled back a snakes head. He said what does a snake represent? I said I dont know but they shed their skin. He yelled the stone is telling you that you life will drastically change in months to come. Go meditate on it. I took the rocks picture of the snake head. I went to a quiet place by a juniper tree/bush & laid the rock down. 5 months later, we had an unfriendly take over of our work of 33 years. I was let go at 55 as all we old timers were. I still owed a payment on my truck and a payment on my roof. It was very devastating in how the new company treated us old timers. But I survived. I did not get my full retirement so financially it has been very hard but I survived. I love to sit by the lakes or at sunrise or sunset and meditate. It is very calming to me and answers to my questions bout my life come to me. I cant do this at home where my house is not far from a 6 lane highway. Our lives are sooo busy with so many emotional challenges. The beauty & stillness of the park are my refuse from the busy work & busy city & horrible traffic. We need the healing of the parks.

Sincerely,
Emily
