Greetings from Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore

I grew up in Michigan and have a rich memory of the national parks there. Sleeping Bear, Pictured Rocks... these and many others. I'm an Eagle Scout and owe much to the resources the parks provided.
I live in Florida now and still love the National Parks afforded me here. Like the Canaveral Seashore and The Everglades. I would not be The Person I am without these experiences. Thank you Theodore Roosevelt.

Sincerely,
Robert M. Hill

Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore

Nestled along Lake Superior’s southern shoreline on Michigan's Upper Peninsula, this remote park is a geologic wonder of colorful sandstone cliffs topped with stately pines, and miles of quiet, unspoiled beaches strewn with agate, jasper, and quartz. Stroll along the coast, hike quiet trails to the park’s historic lighthouse, and take a boat tour to marvel at the mineral-rich rock faces that tower 200 feet above the surface of the lake.
