Greetings from Yosemite National Park

Yosemite was a huge and influential part of my childhood all the way back to my dad’s childhood. We went every summer a few times a summer as a little kid and I knew all my favorite nooks and crannies in the main valley. I even had a fabled bear encounter in Camp Curry that my family can still laugh about for at least an hour. My dad to this day says when he passes that he wants me to take his asses on a last hike up Half Dome. It’s that ingrained and special. Yosemite is not just a breathtakingly beautiful park but it has a warmth and accessibility to it like few other places of such natural power. I can’t imagine not being able to take my children there and show them all the spots, hikes and vistas I shared with my dad.

Sincerely,
Melinda
