My husband and I have been to this Park several times and because of the time of year ( spring) we were never able to go up by Clingmans Dome. This spring we were finally able to drive up there. What a view!! It was very windy and cold but we just couldn’t believe the colors the view offered us. Of course with the fires last year the park may look a bit different but none the less beautiful. I wouldn’t want these views to be altered by any means. All our Parks are wonders of the world and every time I walk in them I feel renewed. I’ve been to several of our parks and each one brought me peace and overwhelming beauty.
