Greetings from Glacier National Park

I lived 2 miles outside Whitefish, Mt. Moving there in 87’ I left in 99’ for warmer climate. I raised two boys up there in the wilderness and met the love of my life up in those mountains.

Life was hard but the reward you could measure. I hunted and guided expeditions in to the Bob Marshal wilderness and watch the environment struggle from the relentless attack for man.

When I first arrived I could catch trout in the rivers, before I left the trout had been replaced with the “predator” whitefish ! Both plants and animals were effected. I think it continues today, in order to make money in a harsh environment.

If you can’t hack the weather move. I haven’t looked back since. Thanks for the memory regeneration, I haven’t thought of Whitefish for years. My ex still lives there and I’m working on my tan w/50 sunscreen. I think I got the better deal from the divorce, she still shovels snow every winter.

Steven

Sincerely,
Steven Machado
