Greetings from Grand Canyon National Park

This summer my husband and I visited 18 states. We were road-warriors with his family and we could not have had a better time - seeing old civil war battlefields in Georgia and Tennessee, walking around the grounds of the Oklahoma City bombings memorial downtown, gazing up the canyons of the Bandelier National Monument in New Mexico, and of course, visiting the Grand Canyon for the first time! As we celebrated our 3rd anniversary just days before, it was an awesome reminder, gazing over the canyon, that we truly love seeing new places and traveling together. We are so blessed to travel to such a beautiful spots in the U.S. We won’t forget this trip any time soon!

Sincerely,
Allison

Grand Canyon National Park

America’s Southwest is full of breathtaking canyons, but none as famous or as widely visited as the Grand Canyon. This world-famous landmark offers wondrous views, spectacular hiking, exhilarating whitewater rafting and countless adventures. One look across the enormous chasm confirms just why this inspirational place is one of the seven natural wonders of the world and a must-see destination for so many travelers. The park also protects a wealth of biological diversity, including numerous endemic and threatened species and several rare ecosystems.

“As a kid I remember visiting national parks all over the country with my family (road trips from Washington state to Yellowstone National Park and Yosemite National Park), and those are memories I will cherish for as long as I live. As a young adult I realize it's such a blessing to keep discovering new places and people in the National Park system. I hope others to come can learn about new cultures, habitats, ecosystems, and traditions throughout the U.S. -- This is education truly is irreplaceable. I hope the U.S. continues to create and sustain such educational opportunities across the country for people of all ages to learn about the beautiful diversity of the U.S.! ”
