Greetings from Glacier National Park

This past summer my mom flew out to Colorado at the end of my internship to join me on a road trip up to Glacier National Park. I have always been close to my mom, but the way hiking in a National Park brings people together is a whole new story. Our first day there we hiked to Cobalt Lake in the afternoon. To our enjoyment there was nobody there except the animals who call the place home. We drank from waterfalls, admired rocks, shared stories and peered into the crystal waters of this magical lake. At the end of our hike we parked ourselves on a bench in front of Two Medicine Lake watching the sun dance across the water and the varmots scurrying around at our feet, begging for Baked Cheetos. This, is my favorite day. Hiking in a beautiful place with the woman who has given me nothing less than everything.

Sincerely,
Jill
