Amber Nuñez is a hiking enthusiast who is set on a mission to hike around the world. She has found that hiking is a great way to stay connected to nature, the mind, body, and soul.
Amber was raised in East Los Angeles and has stayed local her whole life. She graduated from California State University of Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. In her free time, you can find her unwinding at home. She loves to listen to music, to work out, and to watch Star Wars while cuddling with a cat.
Her reason for becoming a council member for NPCA is to help further environmental justice while adding a Public Health perspective. Amber believes in advocating for people/plants who cannot speak up for themselves. She has a strong sense of community and loves to help others.
