Cara works to restore and protect natural resources in and around Florida's national parks as the Sun Coast's Everglades Restoration Senior Program Manager.

She also serves as the national co-chair of the Everglades Coalition, an alliance of 58 conservation groups committed to ecosystem restoration. Having lived on Florida’s east and west coasts for 15 years, Cara has first-hand experience with many of the state’s native ecosystems and a deep affection for its incredible natural resources and national parks. Cara is a double alumna of Florida Atlantic University and loves exploring Florida’s wetlands and beaches with her husband and daughter.
