A 2019 graduate of the University of Vermont with a B.S. in Animal and Biological Sciences, Emily brings a strong passion for wildlife and science to our cause, and has already proven to be strong communicator, coordinator and committed team player.
Prior to joining NPCA, Emily had a six-month internship with the Humane Society International - UK Headquarters in London where she assisted with fundraising, research and database management; and last summer, she served as the equestrian department co-head manager for a specialized equestrian training camp for nearly 100 young campers ages 10-16. Emily has a big heart – a play ranger volunteer with The Homeless Children’s Project in Washington, DC and has worked as a DC Humane Society Volunteer before.
And final fun fact – Emily has been a dancer for many years, while in college she was a member of Orchesis – a modern dance company, as well as an avid horse back rider.
