Karen Allen joined NPCA in 1999, initially as a consultant, and a year later as a full-time employee. Currently serving as Vice President of Human Resources, Karen has more than 30 years of human resources experience. Prior to joining NPCA, she worked for 15 years at a Fortune 100 corporation.
She leads a team of three professionals in carrying out their department’s mission to foster a culture that champions diversity and inclusion through innovative strategic programs, policies, and services. In addition to her role at NPCA, Karen is a licensed psychotherapist, a Leadership/Life Coach, and human resources consultant. She has a bachelor of science in Organizational Management, and a Master’s in Pastoral Counseling.
