Liliana Griego is passionate about connecting people to their natural environment, especially their local one. While growing up in Los Angeles, she never realized that she was living in a biodiversity hotspot. It wasn’t until she left Los Angeles, to study other ecosystems, that she began to appreciate the land she grew up on.
Now, Liliana is dedicated to connecting people to their local environment and hopes that others don’t have to wait as long as she did to uncover the magic of the Los Angeles landscape. Liliana is excited to get involved with NPCA, as National Parks serve as a place of refuge, healing, and wonder.
Liliana is part of the Riverlution, serving as the Programs and Policy Manager for Friends of the Los Angeles River. When Liliana isn’t obsessing over the River, you can find her nerding out on birds, embroidering, or searching for bats.
