Matt joined NPCA in November 2018 as the West Coast Communications Manager. He currently manages media outreach and communications for the Northwest and Southwest regions, along with NPCA's national energy initiatives.

Prior to NPCA, Matt worked in marketing and communications for a variety of cleantech and environmental non-profits. Matt’s love for the outdoors stems from his time as a student at Appalachian State University where he spent quite a bit of time hiking and kayaking in the mountains of North Carolina. Matt recently moved from North Carolina to join the team in Oakland.
