Timothy is program manager of NPCA’s northeast outreach and engagement initiatives.
Born in Colombia and raised in New York’s Mid-Hudson Valley, Timothy joined NPCA’s staff in 2014 as the Program Coordinator for the northeast region. A former high school history teacher, Timothy brings his varied experiences and love of history to NPCA. In his current role, Timothy manages outreach and engagement initiatives for northeast NPCA members and supporters as well as facilitates park advocacy for communities that have been historically underrepresented in national park protection and interpretation. Since joining NPCA, Timothy was instrumental in the establishment of Stonewall National Monument in 2016 and he is currently working to preserve historic sites in advance of America’s’ semiquincentennial in 2026. Timothy graduated from Vassar College and is currently pursuing an M.A. in Cultural Heritage Management at Johns Hopkins. In his free time, Timothy can usually be found trying to avoid great white sharks at Massachusetts’ Cape Cod National Seashore.
