Virgin Islands National Park is already my third National Park, and I just turned two. Parks provide opportunities for brand new life experiences. It’s not every day that I get to build sand castles in powdery white sand, see a grizzly taking a bath in a lake at Glacier NP, or “hike” (via backpack) to waterfalls at Shenandoah NP.
Sincerely,
Virgin Islands National Park
Idyllic white-sand beaches and crystal clear seas draw many visitors to Virgin Islands National Park each year–and what waits underwater is just as breathtaking. The park includes 5,650 acres of land beneath the ocean, including fragile coral gardens, beautiful seascapes, and resplendent ocean life.
State(s): Virgin Islands
Established: 1956
