As the Manager of Corporate Partnerships & Cause Marketing, Amanda and the dynamic team steward and engage NPCA’s generous corporate partners in efforts to offer meaningful benefits to national parks advocacy and protection efforts. Amanda helps to identify, cultivate, and support existing and prospect corporate partners in aligning their corporate social responsibility/cause marketing goals with the important work that NPCA leads.
Prior to becoming the Manager, Corporate Partnerships & Cause Marketing, Amanda served as NPCA’s Pennsylvania & Delaware Program Manager for three years leading the national parks advocacy strategy for the two states’ 19 national park sites from Gettysburg National Military Park to the Appalachian Trail and Independence National Historical Park. This insight from on-the-ground engagement and advocating in the halls of Congress helps Amanda connect our corporate partners with the true meaning of NPCA’s work, share stories of the park protectors who help NPCA achieve victories, and engage them in transformative opportunities in our 27 offices around the country.
During her time at NPCA, Amanda has been trained as a Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion facilitator. In this role, she and a small team of dedicated staff help NPCA’s internal culture authentically welcome and celebrate diverse backgrounds and thought and equip our field efforts to humbly and intentionally support broader and more inclusive enjoyment of our national parks.
Prior to joining NPCA in January 2016, Amanda led advocacy and policy campaigns for Chesapeake Bay Foundation and Potomac Conservancy, conservation nonprofits in the Mid-Atlantic. Amanda, her husband, and two dogs live in Bozeman, MT where Amanda works remotely. Never able to shake the impact of this park’s majestic wildlife, incomparable geologic features, and truly enchanting landscapes, Amanda’s favorite park is Yellowstone National Park. A New Englander at heart, though, Amanda will always hold special regard for Cape Cod National Seashore.
